 Peotone Junior High School Academics
Welcome to the Peotone Junior High School Academic page. At Peotone Junior High School, we challenge our students to strive to be their best as we prepare them to continue their education in high school. The goal is to provide an educational program that is comprehensive, challenging, and rewarding for our students. We have a staff that is dedicated to learning and providing many educational opportunities.
At all three grade levels, we offer the common core curriculum with a rotation of elective courses. The common core curriculum consists of language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, and physical education. The students will also take classes in computers, character education, art, and general music. Every student is also provided with a study hall unless they decide to participate in band or chorus.
