Peotone Junior High School Band
Club Description: There is a sixth grade band and another band for seventh and eighth grades. We perform as a concert band year round. The seventh and eighth grade band marches in a parade in the fall and competes as a concert band in the spring.
Eligibility Requirements: Students must play a band instrument or be will ing to learn.
Time Commitment: Sixth grade band students perform twice during the school year. The seventh and eighth grade band students perform eight times during the school year. It is strongly encouraged for students to practice at home.
Meets: Both bands practice during the school day.
Fees: $40 School Activity Fee/$60 Instrument Rental Fee
Procedure for Joining: Most students join band in fifth grade. If you have a different situation see Mrs. Bachmann.
