Peotone Junior High School Testing
At Peotone Junior High School, the students are given a variety of standardized tests and tests that allow us to supply a curriculum that is best for all learners. We use all of the data from the tests to keep us informed on the success of the curriculum and any adjustments that we can implement to better serve all of the people in the building. Along with the typical tests that are given in the classroom from the teachers, Peotone Junior High School also gives several standardized tests. In eighth grade, all students will take the EXPLORE Test in the fall and then will take the Illinois Standards Achievement Test (ISAT) in the spring. All sixth and seventh grade students, will take the Illinois Standards Achievement Test (ISAT) in the spring. We also give the AIMSWeb test three times a year; fall, winter, and
spring; which is part of Response to Intervention (RtI).
